Parent Support Group

The Parent Support Group (PSG) at our school is a vibrant community of positive, patient, and supportive parents. Established in January 2021, the PSG meets every other month, with around 5 meetings held annually.

The primary goals of the PSG are to enhance communication between the school and parents, clarify and promote school policies and strategies, and encourage parents to actively participate in school activities.

The PSG spearheads various initiatives to support the school and its students, including:

  • Library Volunteering: Parents assist with book-wrapping, storytelling, and providing book suggestions.
  • Buddy System: The PSG helps new parents navigate the school's IT platform and other systems.
  • Event Support: The PSG provides manpower support for school events, such as the Joyful Carnival, CNY Fair, and Family Outings.
  • Fundraising & Sponsorship Support: The PSG helps find gifts and sponsors for the annual school fundraisers.
  • Guest Speakers: The PSG arranges for parents to share their professional experiences with students and classes.
  • Vendor Recommendations: The PSG members review tendering documents and provide recommendations for uniform, bus, and lunch providers.

By fostering a collaborative and supportive environment, the Parent Support Group plays a vital role in strengthening the bond between the school and the parent community.

Walk Together

Walk Together is a signature series of fellowships/gatherings dedicated to informing, engaging, and dialogue with our parent community.  CAPCL believes parents are valued partners in delivering a Chirst-centered, student-focused, and other-oriented education that prepares our Christ Ambassadors to navigate a global society confidently.

If you want to walk fast, walk alone.If you want to walk far, walk together.
